Shelter Releases a Research Briefing on the Benefit Cap

Made alongside the charity Women’s Aid, the 6-page joint briefing covers the effect of the Benefit Cap which was initially introduced to encourage those on benefits to lower their housing costs or find work. The report also uncovers how the effect is disproportionate for those suffering from domestic abuse.
