Published by the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the 35 page report looks into the expected and actual outcomes of the 2014 Care Act, via interviews, reviews and research. The final conclusion of the report is that whilst the clarity of rights and responsibilities were greatly appreciated, budgetary restrictions have limited the ability to allow carers access to the support the Act should have provided.
